Iesis Urban X Curo

Iesis Urban recently repurposed a lorry load of old student furniture, destined for landfill, from one of our refurbishment projects.
The furniture was donated to Curo, a housing association in Bath that supports young people aged 16–24-year-olds and homeless adults and families of any age. The support team provides coaching and guidance to help people develop independent living skills, look after their physical and mental health, and get on top of their finances to be able to move on successfully to their own homes.

We are delighted to share that these donations have provided invaluable relief, helping these residents make their new environments feel more like home. This furniture will not only accompany them to their own properties when they move on, but it will also remind them of the community that supports them in their journey toward independence.
By choosing to donate instead of discard, we also took a step towards reducing landfill waste.
